A social music discovery platform built around one idea: bridge music and social media so you can find what your friends are actually listening to, not just what an algorithm recommends.
My Role
MyMusicPage was my original idea. I wanted to close the gap between music and social media, so people could discover music through their real, mutual friends instead of a black-box algorithm. I led the 9-person Agile team from the ground up: I hand-selected every student on the team based on their resumes, chose my co-lead, and coordinated sprint planning and feature delivery over several months. On the technical side, my co-lead and I developed the core playlist and media playback functionality and built 20+ reusable React components for authentication, search, and playback that the rest of the team built on top of.
